This is the cutest blanket from Sheila! It is LSU colors, but we let that slide-hehehe!
It has an embroidered fleur-de-lis on the corner. I miss all the little emblems of Louisiana. I am surrounded by lone stars now!
The edge got my crochet curiosity growing as it is finished off with crochet lace with a purple ribbon woven through the lace. It is so pretty and dainty, yet modern and fun. Now, I must learn to crochet lace to use up all the tatting cotton I have just dry rotting away.
Isn't Renée cute as a button all bundled up in it toga style?
