Crack o' Dawn

Got up way too early for my own good. My mother-in-law laughed at me because I was smiling. I am not a morning person and for me to smile in the morn, well, it is a rare occurance. Almost as rare as why we were up that early.
We saw Jack Horkheimer on PBS tell us about the weekly astronomical event. Right before sunrise Uranus and Mars were to be next to each other on the horizon. Didn't see them, but had a glorious drive along the river with my family. No camera, but had binocs. Go figure.

The fashion that comes from the bizarre

Take the Tupperware competition to design a masterpiece. Or, the ubiquitous Duct Tape Prom Dress contest, which made duct tape the "cloth" of choice for wallets.
While those are the average, what on earth is this?

I tried to find a direct link for this image. I got this in my inbox February 6, 2006.
UPDATE: This is the Tree of Life at Animal Kindom Park.

So, I had this blog and only put up my bookmarks. Now, I am going to inundate it with email postings of the past.
Here is one titled: What can you do with MS Paint

crazy hair!!!

As I continue to look through my emails from the past 5 years, I am coming across many fond memories. I have the opportunity to contact those that have left or graduated and see just what they are up to.
There are many emails that I just don't want to go through the trouble of saving/moving/copying. But here is one that came through my inbox a year ago that makes me smile. This is bravery! How on earth did the colors come out so sharp? Those can't be wigs?

Happy Arbor Day!!!

Going through the emails

So, I am cleaning my work computer emails. Here is the blurry but memorable picture of Harrod's from when my sister spent a semester in London, fall 2005.
