Phoebe attended her first chess tournament. What an event! There were 5 rounds and it lasted all day. Thank goodness our friends' son also attended. We split the parental duty of being there for the entire tournament.

She had a good time and learned what a tournament is like. She won one, lost one, and drew on the other 3. You need 3 wins to get a medal. She was just excited to know what a tournament is like.
