Family's Twisted Evil Genius

I finally downloaded Picasa and am very impressed. iPhoto has been bugging me. I like to organize my pictures into folders and whatnot. Now, it is nice that iPhoto will do that for me, but I really wish it would also just leave stuff alone.
I have also wanted a way to blog with my pictures easier than through a browser. Picasa has that! I integrates that blogger interface and makes it easy to post. There are some things that it doesn't do, such as post options and easy text alignment. Maybe soon. So, onto the post!
When Phoebe was a baby, I learned that you pushed down between your eyebrows to produce an evil face. Now that I have an 8-year-old going on 13 (I refuse to go any higher on that age), I now understand that it isn't evil face. It is actually the face you get when your child is being a total smart aleck and all you want to do is rip their lips off (of which I was afraid of when I was a child). This is what Renée will look like in her hey day of driving me nuts.

I love the second picture. It is as if Renée is saying two things: 1) "Why are you doing evil baby face to me, Momma?" and 2) This is the surprised look Momma & Poppa will get when I try to get out of being in trouble. "Who me? Innocent me?"

Forced to blog!!!

So, my brother has a blog up and Mel has showcased my image on her blog (thanks for choosing one that is so flattering! I'll get you!) Being half-way through my pregnancy, I figure this might be the best way to get new news out.
What is there to report? A fantastic baby shower thrown by the illustrious, industrious Mel! She got it together and held it at the folk festival. It was so much fun! Thanks to her and everybody that participated and gifted and came!
I am at home and Dolly is dumping rain in buckets over our house.
Phoebe is with MoMo.
I am trying to make a pair of baby booties. I started a pair of smocked ones when Phoebe was a baby. I am currently trying to finish those, but they are so small! I saw these on flickr.

Love the pleats!

Great use of rickrack! Love that they are reversible.
I am actually enjoying working out the design for what I want!

Google Share

In my efforts to "get out there" in this crazy online world, I provide the link to my shared RSS feeds. Free great stuff coming at you! Think of it as a bargain for you!

I even signed up for mobile blogging so I can get some of the crazy stuff I witness daily to you.

CSS & Firefox

The CSS is a bit difficult to deal with on this blog considering there are added line break tags in the automatic push from what I compose. Cie la vie.

Morning Coffee extension in Firefox is quite the thing! I have been configuring the Google front page with RSS feeds, but some pages cannot be added because they don't publish a feed. As such, I have been looking for something that I could use for my "daily dose sites." Morning Coffee might do the trick.

The other extensions I use are the tabbed browsing, Search Engine Ordering (got to remove some from that list!), ColorZilla, and Web Developer. Web Developer has been one of the most useful tools for CSS! I have learned alot using it.

PimpZilla is my theme of choice.
