You won't be able to guess what I am getting for my birthday!
A rebuilt transmission! That's right, the ol' Matrix manual transmission has been making an odd little rattling. I was hoping it was just some loose things around the car, but no! Wednesday we get the car back. Until then, we're a family going nowhere since the truck only seats three.
At least we can get it repaired!
95,000 miles and a rebuild.

Oh that sucks. I figured your Toyota would be more dependable than that! Try the birthday angle. Maybe you can get free spark plugs with the transmission like you get free icecream on your birthday...
